Description | 1)Scope:1.1) DescriptorThis unit covers attach flexible cords, cable(s) and plug(s), including trailing and feeder cables, to HV electrical equipment connected to a supply exceeding 1,000 volts a.c. or 1,500 volts d.c. This may be incidental to or a primary and regular function of work related to a principle function in the workplace – typically mining. It encompasses working safely, identifying plug configurations, selecting and using testing and measuring devices, terminating and connecting HV flexible cables, plugs and conductors, safety testing and reporting. | ||
